OREO Cookie Ball



  • 6 oz. (3/4 of 8 oz. pkg.) brick cream cheese, softened
  • 27 OREO Cookies, finely crushed
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening


  1. MIX cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
  2. SHAPE into 36 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min.
  3. MELT chocolate and shortening in microwave on HIGH 30 sec., stir. Melt an additional 30 sec. stirring after 15 sec. or until smooth.
  4. DIP balls in melted chocolate; place single layer of chocolate covered OREO balls in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
  5. CUSTOMIZE it with your own topping additions or decorative skills. Refrigerate 10 min. or until firm. Keep refrigerated.
