Chocolate Avocado Mousse With Coconut Milk

  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 ripe banana (optional)*
  • ½ cup raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoon of organic coconut milk (you can add more for a thinner consistency)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • fresh fruit and nuts for garnish


  1. In the bowl of a food processor, blend avocado until smooth.
  2. Add all other ingredients, blending until mixture is uniform.
  3. Chill for about 2 hours in the fridge or half an hour in the freezer. Garnish with fresh fruit or chopped nuts.
  4. I like to serve it with whipped coconut cream – YUMMO!

*For a Mexican flare leave out the banana and add teaspoon of cinnamon & a pinch of cayenne pepper. You can also leave out the added sweetener completely and just add the banana for an even less sweet treat.
