Eggnog Martini With Banana Walnut Bread Pudding

Egg Nog Martini


  • ½ cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup of liquid caramel
  • 3 parts eggnog
  • ½ jigger spiced rum
  • ½ jigger vanilla vodka
  • Powdered nutmeg to sprinkle on top


  1. Dip the rim of a martini glass in caramel, and then into the crushed graham crackers.
  2. Combine dark rum, spiced rum, vodka, eggnog, and simple syrup in an ice-filled martini shaker. Shake well, strain, and pour into a prepared glass. Garnish with nut meg sprinkle.

Banana Walnut Bread Pudding


  • 4 cups 1-inch cubes day old bread or Challah bread
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bananas, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pint store bought wet walnuts


  1.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 2-1/2-quart casserole dish or individual loaf pans or ramekins with cooking spray.
  2. Place bread cubes in prepared dish. Pour butter over bread cubes and toss to coat.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, milk, granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla, and salt. Stir in bananas. Pour over bread cubes and gently stir to coat. Sprinkle with nuts.
  4. Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. In a small bowl, mix remaining vanilla, the confectioners' sugar, and heavy cream, until smooth. Pour over bread pudding.
  6. Top with wet walnuts (optional) and serve.
