Puff Pastry Mini Tarts with Goat Cheese and Pears



  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 pears, cut into thin slices
  • 10 oz of goat cheese
  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped basil
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Take the puff pastry out of the container and slightly roll it out with a rolling pin. Cut out shapes with a round or square cookie cutter and place on a greased baking sheet. 
  2. Cut the pears into thin slices and lay across the puff pastry pieces. Crumble the goat cheese overtop of the pears and top with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of the basil, salt, and pepper
  3. Place in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the pastry dough is puffed up and lightly brown.
