Ranch Chicken Salad Sandwich


Ryan’s homemade ranch dressing makes this sandwich irresistible!

Makes 4 sandwiches

Make is easy and have the dressing prepared ahead of time. It will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Also, buy a rotisserie chicken


  • 4 cups chicken meat, cut up, mix dark and white meat
  • 2/3 cup Ryan’s Ranch Dressing (enough to moisten the chicken meat)
  • 1 cup avocado spread (smashed avocado with a touch of mayonnaise for smoothness and a squeeze of lime juice)
  • 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
  • 2 cups of spring mix lettuce
  • 2 cups Cool Ranch Doritos
  • 4 ciabatta rolls or soft French rolls


  1. Mix the chicken with the ranch dressing. Set aside.
  2. Mix the avocado with a little mayonnaise, squeeze of fresh lime and salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Assemble sandwich with the Doritos inside.

  • 3 cups mayonnaise
  • 1½ cups buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup Italian parsley, minced
  • ¼ cup chives, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper


  1. Mix vinegar and sugar in a mixing bowl then add buttermilk, mayonnaise, sugar, onion powder and whisk together. Add herbs and lemon juice and season with kosher salt.
