Sarah is a TV reporter and journalist who covers pop culture, fashion, health, fitness, parenting and — really, the main thing — what gets people talking.
She has shopped with Lady Gaga, worked the red carpet at the Oscars, and given life-changing makeovers to athletes and their moms at the winter Olympics. She’s hung onto the hood of a speeding taxi at Hollywood Stunt School and miraculously survived.
Sarah has appeared regularly on the Today Show, Extra! Entertainment Tonight, HLN’s Showbiz Tonight, and Daybreak, a top-rated morning show in the UK, to dissect pop culture topics and lifestyle trends. As the original host of The Thread on Yahoo!’s Shine, she focused on celebrity fashion and beauty.
She began her career at New York magazine where she wrote for the award-winning Strategist section, chronicling such diverse topics as the aftermath of 9/11, the strange family saga behind the storied Gramercy Park Hotel and the rise of ‘multiples,’ which included the emotional journey leading up to the birth of her twin daughters.
She’s a contributing editor for ELLE magazine where she writes celebrity profiles and explores the psychology behind alarming (and not so alarming) beauty practices. She blogs about parenting at The Stir.com and hosts and produces 3 Minute Makeovers, a weekly web show for Babble.com where she also writes about entertainment through the parenting lens.
Her work has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Condé Nast Traveler, Details, Allure, Teen Vogue, Brides and HGTV magazine.
